Dollhopf and Tutaj Win WMT'S Monona Tournament

There were two muskies over 34 inches registered at the WMT's Monona Lake tournament Saturday, May 10th. The first muskie of the event would be measured at 8:15am by the team of Doug Dollhopf and Gary Tutaj that scored 38 1/2 inches. The second and final muskie of the day would be captured by Cheryl Giffen and Matt Thatcher at 1:28pm and measuring in at 37 3/4 inches. Both teams were able to catch their muskies in very shallow water with one team using a small jerk bait and the other team using a bass sized spinner bait. The water temps were low, starting out at 51 degrees and warming up to 53 by the end of the tourney.
