World Muskie Association™ Mission Statement

• Education that includes but not limited to: biology, geographic distribution, and muskellunge management practices.
• Preserve the history and the future of muskie fishing by creating the “World Muskie Fishing Hall of Fame™” and Museum that is free for all to enjoy.
• Assist state and provincial natural resource agencies and academic institutions in their muskellunge research and study programs.
• Support and promote sound muskellunge management practices and regulations that are based on scientific research and study.
• Expand muskie fishing opportunities where it is ecologically sound.
• Advance the proper techniques of: muskie catching, handling muskie, and release methods.
• Promote and enhance muskie fishing through muskie tournaments and other events.
• Introduce and assist new anglers to the great sport of muskie fishing.
